Link by Stripe: a checkout that already knows your customer
Link is Stripe’s own wallet. A customer who saved a card and address with Link at any business that offers it can fill in your Cornerrr checkout with a one-time code, instead of typing everything again.

What is Link?
Link saves a customer’s payment details and address when they choose to, at any business whose checkout offers Link. Next time, at your store or another one, Link recognizes their email, sends a one-time code and fills in their saved details. Customers pay through Link with cards and, in some countries, other methods such as bank accounts.
How your customers pay
Email first
On Stripe Checkout the customer enters their email. If it belongs to a Link account, Link offers to fill in the rest.
A one-time code
Link sends them a one-time code and they type it in. That confirms it’s really them before any saved details appear.
Details filled in
Their saved card and shipping address appear. They can pick another saved card or change the address before paying.
Pay, and save for next time
They confirm the payment. A new customer can choose to save their details with Link at this step, so their next order anywhere Link is offered is quicker.

Not tied to one phone or browser
Apple Pay and Google Pay depend on the device. Link works wherever the customer can receive their code, which helps people ordering from a work laptop or a shared computer.
No extra charge in Checkout
Stripe doesn’t add a separate fee for Link in Stripe Checkout: card payments through Link are priced like other card payments (see Stripe’s pricing page). Cornerrr adds no transaction fee either.

Link works for subscriptions on Stripe Checkout, so a member can start a monthly plan with details they saved months ago. Subscriptions on Cornerrr need the Growth plan.

Turn on Link in three steps.
Connect your Stripe account
Link the Stripe account you already have, or create one in a few minutes from Cornerrr. Payments go straight to it; Cornerrr adds no transaction fee.
Turn the method on in Stripe
In your Stripe Dashboard, open the payment method settings and turn it on. Stripe may ask a few questions about your business first.
It shows at checkout
Your Cornerrr checkout is Stripe Checkout, so customers who can use the method see it automatically when their country and your currency match.

How do I turn on Link for my store?
Connect your Stripe account to Cornerrr and make sure Link is on under Wallets in your Stripe Dashboard’s payment method settings. Cornerrr’s Stripe Checkout then offers Link to customers automatically.
Do my customers need a Link account to buy from me?
No. Customers without one pay by card or another method as usual, and can choose to save their details with Link along the way. Nobody is made to sign up.
Is Link the same as a customer account on my website?
No. Link belongs to Stripe and keeps payment details for use at many businesses. Your Cornerrr customer account is your store’s own sign-in with an emailed code, where customers see their orders, subscriptions and downloads.
How do refunds work for Link payments?
You refund through Stripe, in full or in part, and your store emails the customer. Stripe says Link refunds usually complete within 5–10 business days, depending on the bank.
Where do customers change their saved Link details?
At link.com, where they can update saved cards and addresses, see purchases made with Link and contact Link’s support team.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.
How much does it cost?
Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
