Cornerrr in Poland
Describe your business in Polish and Cornerrr writes the store in Polish: pages, products, a request form and a Stripe checkout in złoty with BLIK, Przelewy24 and cards. Here is what Polish rules and Polish shoppers expect.
Payments
BLIK is the method many Poles reach for first: they type a six-digit code from their banking app and confirm it there. Przelewy24 covers quick payments from Polish banks, and cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay are common too. Through Stripe you can offer all of these in złoty, plus Klarna and Revolut Pay. PayPal isn’t available through Cornerrr’s checkout, and neither is cash on delivery (za pobraniem).
Before you start
Since 1 January 2026, businesses with sales under PLN 240,000 a year can stay exempt from VAT (zwolnienie podmiotowe), up from PLN 200,000. Some goods and services are excluded whatever your sales, so check the list with your accountant.
The standard rate is 23%, with 8% and 5% for some goods and services. Prices for consumers must include VAT, and on any paid plan Stripe Tax can calculate it at checkout once it’s active on your Stripe account.
Polish law expects an online shop to publish terms (regulamin sklepu) and to show your company name, address, NIP and, for a company, its KRS number. Add a Regulamin page yourself; the AI drafts terms, refund and privacy pages for you to review.
Consumers can withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, and you refund them within 14 days of their notice. Put the model withdrawal form on your returns page.
When you announce a price reduction, the rules that come from the EU Omnibus directive ask you to show the lowest price of the previous 30 days next to it. UOKiK, the consumer authority, enforces this.
Online sales paid through a bank or payment provider are often exempt from the cash register (kasa fiskalna), but not always. Invoices to businesses go through KSeF, Poland’s e-invoicing system, mandatory in stages from 2026. Ask your accountant; this is not tax advice.
Above €10,000 a year of consumer sales to other EU countries, you charge their VAT and declare it in one OSS return with the Polish tax office, instead of registering in each country.
General information, current as of October 2026, not legal or tax advice. Rules and rates change, so check them with an accountant or adviser, or the official sources, before you rely on them.
Cornerrr
Set your store’s currency to PLN and your products, shipping rates and checkout use it. Cornerrr works with about 140 currencies, one per web address.
Turn on Stripe Tax in your Stripe account and Cornerrr asks it to work out VAT for each order at checkout, on any paid plan. You can collect business customers’ VAT numbers too.
Describe your business in Polish and Cornerrr writes your pages in Polish. Stripe Checkout shows in Polish too. A few built-in cart and account labels are still in English today.
Checkout is Stripe’s own, so the local payment methods you turn on in Stripe show up for the customers who can use them, next to cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Local tips
InPost Paczkomaty are the delivery choice of many Polish shoppers, next to DPD Pickup, Orlen Paczka and couriers. Cornerrr’s shipping rates are fixed rates you name, such as “InPost Paczkomat”, but there’s no locker map at checkout, so say how customers tell you their locker.
Many Polish buyers who run a business want a VAT invoice (faktura) with their NIP. Turn on tax ID collection so they can enter it at checkout, and issue the invoice from your accounting tool.
Mention BLIK and Przelewy24 on your product pages and in your FAQ, not only at checkout. Shoppers who pay this way every day feel at home when they see the names before they reach the payment step.

Questions
Yes. Describe your business in Polish and Cornerrr writes the pages, products and menus in Polish, and Stripe’s checkout appears in Polish. One honest catch: a few built-in labels on the cart and account pages are in English for now, but you can rename the add-to-cart and checkout buttons.
Yes. Turn BLIK on in your Stripe Dashboard and Stripe Checkout offers it for prices in złoty: the customer types a six-digit code from their banking app and confirms. Przelewy24 can sit next to it for quick bank payments.
No. Cornerrr takes payments online through Stripe only, so every order is paid before you ship. BLIK is the closest thing for customers who don’t want to use a card.
Not while your sales stay under PLN 240,000 a year and you don’t sell goods excluded from the exemption. Some sellers register anyway to deduct VAT on their costs; an accountant (księgowa) can tell you which suits you.
No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.
