Cornerrr in Lithuania
Describe your business in Lithuanian and Cornerrr builds the online store in Lithuanian: pages, products, a request form and a Stripe checkout in euros. Here is what Lithuanian tax rules, parcel terminals and shoppers expect.
Payments
Lithuanians pay online by card, with bank payments from Swedbank, SEB, Luminor and Šiaulių bankas through local providers such as Paysera, and with Revolut, whose European bank is licensed in Lithuania. Through Stripe you can take cards, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay in euros, and SEPA Direct Debit for subscriptions. Bank payments through local providers aren’t part of Stripe, and PayPal isn’t available through Cornerrr’s checkout.
Before you start
Register for VAT (PVM) with the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI) once your turnover in Lithuania passes €45,000 a year. Below that, you can register voluntarily.
The standard rate is 21%, with lower rates for some goods and services, which changed in 2026. Prices for consumers must include PVM, and Stripe Tax can calculate it at checkout on any paid plan.
Customers buying online may withdraw within 14 days. Explain the steps on a returns page, and name the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) for disputes you can’t settle.
Show your company name, company code (įmonės kodas), PVM code if registered, address and email, and a privacy policy as GDPR requires.
Above €10,000 a year of consumer sales to other EU countries, charge their VAT through the One-Stop Shop instead of registering in each one. VMI and VVTAT publish the official rules; this summary isn’t legal or tax advice.
General information, current as of October 2026, not legal or tax advice. Rules and rates change, so check them with an accountant or adviser, or the official sources, before you rely on them.
Cornerrr
Set your store’s currency to EUR and your products, shipping rates and checkout use it. Cornerrr works with about 140 currencies, one per web address.
Turn on Stripe Tax in your Stripe account and Cornerrr asks it to work out VAT for each order at checkout, on any paid plan. You can collect business customers’ VAT numbers too.
Describe your business in Lithuanian and Cornerrr writes your pages in Lithuanian. Stripe Checkout shows in Lithuanian too. A few built-in cart and account labels are still in English today.
Checkout is Stripe’s own, so the local payment methods you turn on in Stripe show up for the customers who can use them, next to cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Local tips
LP Express, Omniva, DPD, SmartPosti and Venipak run parcel terminals (paštomatai) across Lithuania, and many shoppers prefer them to home delivery. Name each fixed rate after the network so customers know where to collect.
If you turn on Revolut Pay, say so on your payment page and product pages. Customers with the app pay in a couple of taps, and it works for subscriptions too.
Show a Lithuanian address and phone number, your įmonės kodas and where you ship from. Shoppers comparing you with big foreign marketplaces look for exactly these details.
