About this theme

Ember Loud, playful and colourful for food makers with personality.

Ember is for food makers whose product is the personality: hot sauce, chili crisp, spice rubs, pickles and snack brands that sell at markets and online. Chili red, mustard yellow, a drawn flame and big uppercase buttons make it loud and warm. It works because it helps a buyer pick: each sauce carries its heat level in its name, the spotlight offers three routes in (find your heat, give a gift set, join the club) and the story tells where the peppers come from, which is what food fans want to know.

Questions

Good to know

Can I sell sauces I make at home with Ember?

Ember gives you the shop; the rules depend on where you cook. Many places limit what home kitchens may sell, often including acidified foods like hot sauce, or ask for a licensed kitchen and proper labels. Check your local food rules before you list a bottle.

What becomes of Ember’s sample sauces?

They’re placeholders for your own: four sauces from Morning Glow to Night Fire, a heat trio gift set and a monthly club. Rename them, set your prices and stock, and add ingredients and allergens to each description, or ask the assistant to do it for all of them at once.

Can Ember’s sauce club charge every month?

Yes, on the Growth plan. Turn the club into a subscription and Stripe bills it monthly; members see it in their account, and changes go through you.

Can I tone Ember down for a calmer food brand?

Yes. Ask the assistant for “softer colors and a quieter font” and apply the suggestion, or change colors, fonts and layout yourself. Your products and pages stay as they are.
