Website builder for makeup artists

A makeup artist website that shows your range on every skin tone

Brides and event clients judge a makeup artist on two things: the portfolio and how easy it is to ask about a date. Cornerrr builds both, with your bridal, event and lesson services and a request form for the date, place and party size.

What you get

Your makeup artist website, ready in about a minute.

Cornerrr writes every page from your description, then you change anything by clicking or by asking.

Pages it starts with

  • Home
  • Portfolio
  • Bridal
  • Events and shoots
  • Lessons
  • Contact
  • Bridal makeup and trials

The bride’s makeup, the trial and the bridal party listed with what’s included, with a starting price or as “price on request”. Brides ask with the date and the venue, and you reply once you know you’re free.

  • Event and photoshoot makeup

Proms, galas, headshots and editorial work as separate services, so clients and photographers can see you do more than weddings.

  • Makeup lessons

One-on-one or small-group lessons, sold as places with a price or requested like any other service, for clients who want to learn their own everyday or evening look.

  • Travel and service area

Where you travel, how far you go before a travel charge applies and how early you can start on a wedding morning, written plainly so out-of-town brides know before they ask.

Beauty and wellbeing

Built for how makeup artists actually work.

Your services with prices, or “price on request” so clients ask first, and every request in your Inbox.

  • A portfolio built for phones

Brides scroll on their phones. Your portfolio page works on every phone, and Cornerrr writes alt text for each photo so it reads well for screen readers and search engines.

  • Requests with the details that matter

Date, venue, start time and number of people having makeup: requests arrive in your Inbox and by email, and the assistant can tell you which ones are still waiting for a reply.

  • Your own web address

Use your own domain on any paid plan, with the security certificate set up automatically, so the link in your Instagram bio looks like a business.

  • Lesson places that close when full

List a group lesson with its number of places as stock. Stock goes down as places are paid, and checkout stops when the class is full.

Advice

What makes a great makeup artist website

Whatever you build it with, these are the things that turn visitors into customers.

  1. Show every skin tone you’ve worked on

Clients look for faces like their own. Organize your portfolio so a range of skin tones, ages and looks is easy to find, not only your favorite editorial shot.

  2. Photograph in daylight, without heavy edits

Shoot finished looks by a window, close up and from arm’s length, and say when a photo is unedited. Brides want to know how the makeup looks in person, not after retouching.

  3. Answer the date question first

Wedding makeup artists are often booked many months ahead for spring and summer Saturdays. Put “Ask about your date” near the top, and say how far ahead brides usually get in touch.

  4. Be clear about trials

Say whether a trial is required, when it usually happens and whether it’s part of the bridal package. It’s one of the first questions brides ask.

  5. List your hygiene and your kit

Clean brushes for every client, disposable applicators for mascara and lips, and the brands you use for sensitive skin. Clients with allergies read this before they get in touch.

How it works

From a few words to a makeup artist website, live.

  1. Step 1: Describe your business

A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who it’s for and how people buy from you.

  2. Step 2: We build it while you watch

Cornerrr writes your pages, adds your products or services, and picks the colours, fonts and look. It takes about a minute.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Link a Stripe account, or create one in a few minutes. Your customers pay you directly.

  4. Step 4: You’re live

Publish on your free Cornerrr web address, or use your own. Change anything later by asking.

Questions

Good to know

What should a makeup artist portfolio website include?

A portfolio grouped by type of work, your services with what’s included, the area you travel to, how trials work and an easy way to ask about a date. Cornerrr builds those pages from a short description, and you add your own photos.

Can brides check if I’m free on their wedding date?

Not automatically. Brides send a request with their date and venue; it lands in your Inbox and by email, and you reply after checking your schedule. Many artists prefer this, because wedding mornings need planning anyway.

Should I put my bridal prices on my website?

A starting price helps brides decide whether to get in touch and cuts down on requests from people looking for something else. You can show a “from” price in the words or mark the service “price on request”.

Can I sell makeup lessons online?

Yes. A lesson can be a product with a price, paid through your own Stripe account, or a service people request. For group lessons, set the number of places as stock.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.

How much does it cost?

Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
