What you get

Your craft supply store website, ready in about a minute.

Cornerrr writes every page from your description, then you change anything by clicking or by asking.

Pages it starts with

  • Home
  • Yarn
  • Fabric
  • Kits
  • Workshops
  • Patterns
  • Visit us
  • Yarn by weight, fiber and colorway

Each yarn listed once, with colorways as options, the yardage and weight of each skein, and the current dye lot noted, so a knitter ordering for a sweater gets skeins that match.

  • Fabric by the yard or meter

Sell fabric in half-yard or half-meter units: the customer chooses how many, and stock counts down in those units. Say that several units come as one continuous cut.

  • Workshop tickets

Beginner knitting, quilting or embroidery classes as products with a set number of seats. Checkout stops when the class is full, and the order email confirms the place.

  • Patterns and kits

PDF patterns as digital downloads on any paid plan, next to the kit with everything needed to make them, so a beginner can buy the lot in one order.

Shops and makers

Built for how craft supply stores actually work.

Products with photos, options, prices and stock, a cart and a Stripe checkout.

  • Colorways with their own stock

A yarn in thirty colorways is one product, with every color counted on its own. When a color sells out, checkout stops for it and the others stay on sale.

  • Your whole stock list from a spreadsheet

On the Growth plan, bring in hundreds of SKUs from a spreadsheet with names, prices and stock instead of typing each skein, then ask the assistant to tidy the descriptions.

  • Discount codes for your regulars

A code for workshop students, free shipping above an order amount or a seasonal sale with end dates and usage limits, on any paid plan.

  • Requests for custom kits and groups

Guilds, schools and knitting groups can ask for bulk orders or a private class through a form. Requests land in your Inbox and by email for you to quote.

Advice

What makes a great craft supply store website

Whatever you build it with, these are the things that turn visitors into customers.

  1. Photograph colors in daylight

Color is most of the decision for yarn and fabric. Shoot every colorway in the same daylight next to a neutral card, and say that screens show colors differently.

  2. Remind knitters about dye lots

Skeins from different dye lots can differ in shade. Tell knitters to order all the yarn for a project at once, and say on the product how many skeins a typical sweater or blanket needs.

  3. Explain how fabric is cut

Say whether several units come as one piece, how you measure and whether cut fabric can be returned. Many shops don’t take back cut fabric, so say so before people order.

  4. Teach, and supplies follow

Workshops and free beginner patterns bring in people who then buy supplies. A short “start here” page helps a beginner choose a first kit.

  5. Get found by local crafters

People search for a yarn shop or fabric store plus their town. Put your town in page titles, give your workshops their own page and keep your Google Business Profile hours current.

How it works

From a few words to a craft supply store website, live.

  1. Step 1: Describe your business

A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who it’s for and how people buy from you.

  2. Step 2: We build it while you watch

Cornerrr writes your pages, adds your products or services, and picks the colours, fonts and look. It takes about a minute.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Link a Stripe account, or create one in a few minutes. Your customers pay you directly.

  4. Step 4: You’re live

Publish on your free Cornerrr web address, or use your own. Change anything later by asking.

Questions

Good to know

How do I sell fabric by the yard online?

Make the product one half yard or one meter and let customers choose the quantity. Stock counts in those units, so you always know how much of the bolt is left.

Can I sell tickets to knitting or sewing classes?

Yes. Each class is a product with the number of seats as its stock, so checkout closes when it’s full. Put the date, time, level and what to bring in the description.

Can I sell PDF knitting and sewing patterns?

Yes, on any paid plan. A pattern can be a digital download that buyers receive after payment and can download again from their account.

What should a craft store put online first?

Your best-selling yarns and fabrics, your kits and your next workshops. Shoppers come back for what they used last time, and kits and classes are easy to buy without seeing the shelves.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.

How much does it cost?

Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
