What you get

Your author website, ready in about a minute.

Cornerrr writes every page from your description, then you change anything by clicking or by asking.

Pages it starts with

  • Home
  • Books
  • Shop
  • Events
  • About
  • Press
  • Contact
  • A page for every book

Cover, blurb, the opening lines, where it sits in the series and links to the stores that sell it. A reader who finds one book should find the next in two clicks.

  • Signed copies and bundles

Signed paperbacks, a series bundle or a special edition as products with stock and shipping rates. You sign, pack and add the tracking number.

  • Ebooks and audiobooks as downloads

Sell EPUB, PDF or audio files as digital downloads on any paid plan. Readers get them after payment and can download them again from their account.

  • Event and school visit requests

Bookshops, libraries, schools and festivals send the date, place and audience through a request form that lands in your Inbox.

Creative and events

Built for how authors actually work.

Products with photos, options, prices and stock, a cart and a Stripe checkout.

  • A reader list with double opt-in

A sign-up form collects readers’ emails with double opt-in, and you can export the list to the email tool you use for release news.

  • A blog for writing news

On the Growth plan, post research notes, cover reveals and behind-the-scenes stories. Each post gets its own title and description for search engines.

  • Shipping you set

Fixed shipping rates for one book or a bundle, the countries you send to, and a shipping email with a tracking link once you add the number.

Advice

What makes a great author website

Whatever you build it with, these are the things that turn visitors into customers.

  1. Make the newest book impossible to miss

Put the latest cover, one line about it and where to buy at the top of the home page. Most visitors arrive because they just heard about that book.

  2. Show the reading order

Series readers want to start at book one. Number the books on your website, say which to read first, and mark which ones stand alone.

  3. Collect emails, not just followers

Social platforms decide who sees your posts; an email list doesn’t. Offer a reason to join, like a bonus chapter, and put the sign-up on every book page.

  4. Sell ebook files that open everywhere

Offer EPUB for most e-readers and PDF for reading on a computer, and say which formats come with each purchase. Kindle owners can send EPUB files to their device with Amazon’s Send to Kindle.

  5. Keep a press page

A short and a long bio, author photos, cover images and contact details on one page. Event organizers and journalists look for it before they invite you.

How it works

From a few words to a author website, live.

  1. Step 1: Describe your business

A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who it’s for and how people buy from you.

  2. Step 2: We build it while you watch

Cornerrr writes your pages, adds your products or services, and picks the colours, fonts and look. It takes about a minute.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Link a Stripe account, or create one in a few minutes. Your customers pay you directly.

  4. Step 4: You’re live

Publish on your free Cornerrr web address, or use your own. Change anything later by asking.

Questions

Good to know

Can I sell my books directly from my author website?

Yes. Print copies are products with stock and shipping rates, and ebooks can be digital downloads on any paid plan. Payments go to your own Stripe account.

Should I sell books directly or just link to Amazon?

Many authors do both: store links for readers who want them, and direct sales for signed copies, bundles and ebooks. Cornerrr isn’t connected to Amazon or other stores, so you list your direct editions yourself.

Can I collect newsletter sign-ups on my author website?

Yes, with double opt-in, and you can export the list at any time. Cornerrr doesn’t send emails to your readers, so you write release news in your own email tool.

Do I need an author website before my first book is out?

It helps. A simple page with the book, a release date and a sign-up form starts your reader list early, and agents, editors and event organizers can find you.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.

How much does it cost?

Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
