Online store for swimwear

Sell swimwear online before the summer rush

Cornerrr builds a swimwear shop around your styles: bikini tops and bottoms as separate products with their own sizes, one-pieces with cup and length options, a fit guide, a returns page that explains the hygiene liner and a Stripe checkout.

Step by step

How to sell swimwear online in 6 steps.

  1. Sell tops and bottoms separately

Many people wear a different size on top and bottom. List each top and each bottom as its own product with its own sizes and stock, and link the matching piece in each description.

  2. Size by bust and cup, not only S to XL

Offer tops in cup sizes or a D+ option, and give one-pieces a long-torso option if you make one. Each option keeps its own stock, so the long torso in navy can sell out on its own.

  3. Photograph on different bodies

Show each style on more than one body type, from the front, back and side, plus a flat-lay that shows the cut and the lining. Note each model’s height and size beside the photo.

  4. Explain the hygiene liner in your returns policy

Say that swimwear can come back only unworn, with the hygiene liner and tags in place, and how exchanges work. Cornerrr can draft a refund policy page that you adjust to your own terms.

  5. Start the season early

Swimwear sells before people travel: from late winter for spring break and vacations, peaking in early summer. Add the new season a few weeks before your first busy month, and keep a core range on sale for winter vacations in the sun.

  6. Add care to every product

Rinse in cold fresh water after chlorine or salt, wash by hand and dry in the shade. A short care line makes suits last longer and saves you from complaints about faded color.

Built in

A shop made for swimwear, not a blank template.

  • Separates with their own stock

A top in 34D and a bottom in medium are two products with their own options and stock, so a busy size in one doesn’t hold up the other.

  • Fit and returns pages

Add a fit guide and a returns page, edit them by clicking and link them from every product. Ask the assistant to add a line about the hygiene liner to every swimsuit at once.

  • Seasonal launches and sales

Group the new season into a collection, start a launch discount code with an end date, then lower last year’s prints in August. The assistant suggests each change and you apply it.

  • Shipping that suits light parcels

Swimwear is light, so fixed rates stay simple. Set standard and express rates with delivery estimates, and your customer gets a tracking link when you add the tracking number.

Good to know

  • Hygiene returns in the EU and UK

Customers in the EU and UK can usually cancel an online order within 14 days. There’s an exception for sealed goods unsealed for hygiene reasons, but whether it covers a swimsuit depends on how it’s sealed, so many shops simply accept unworn suits with the liner intact.

  • UV and chlorine claims

If you say a suit or rash guard blocks UV or resists chlorine, your fabric supplier should be able to show test results. Keep those reports on file, and describe the fabric instead of making the claim when you can’t.

  • Fiber content, lining included

Swimwear is usually nylon or polyester with elastane. Show the percentages on the label and on every listing, as US and EU textile rules expect, and mention the lining fabric too.

General information to help you get started, not legal advice. Rules differ by country, state and product, so check the ones that apply to you.

How it works

From a few words to a shop that takes payments, live.

  1. Step 1: Describe your business

A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who it’s for and how people buy from you.

  2. Step 2: We build it while you watch

Cornerrr writes your pages, adds your products or services, and picks the colours, fonts and look. It takes about a minute.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Link a Stripe account, or create one in a few minutes. Your customers pay you directly.

  4. Step 4: You’re live

Questions

Good to know

How do customers find their swimwear size online?

Give a chart with bust, underbust, waist and hips for each size, and say whether a style runs small. A line such as “between sizes, size up for the bottom” saves many exchanges.

Can I sell swimwear all year round?

Yes, though most orders come in spring and summer. Keep a core collection on sale all year for vacations and pools, and add new prints for the season.

Do I have to accept returns on swimwear?

It depends on where your customers are. In the EU and UK, the 14-day right to cancel usually applies unless a suit was sealed for hygiene and the seal was broken. In the US the policy is yours to set; either way, state it clearly on your returns page.

Can I add kids’ swimwear to my shop?

Yes, as its own collection on Cornerrr with its own sizes. In the US, swimwear for children 12 and under is a children’s product under the CPSIA, with tracking label and certificate rules, so check what applies before you add it.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.

How much does it cost?

Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
