What you get

Your firewood delivery website, ready in about a minute.

Cornerrr writes every page from your description, then you change anything by clicking or by asking.

Pages it starts with

  • Home
  • Firewood
  • Kindling and bundles
  • Delivery
  • About our wood
  • FAQ
  • Contact
  • Cords, half cords and smaller loads

Each amount as an option with its own price and stock, so checkout stops selling seasoned wood when the pile runs out. Turn on “sell when out of stock” to take preorders for next year’s wood.

  • Species and dryness as options

Oak, maple, ash or mixed hardwood, seasoned or kiln-dried, each as an option on a single product page with its own price, so customers compare them side by side.

  • Stacking and carry-in add-ons

Stacking, carrying wood to the backyard, or a cheaper dump-and-go drop as product options, so the price of the extra work is clear before the truck backs into the driveway.

  • Kindling, bundles and fire starters

Bagged kindling, campfire bundles and fire starters as small products for one-time orders, and wholesale supply for campgrounds and corner stores as price on request.

Deliveries and subscriptions

Built for how firewood sellers actually work.

Products with photos, options, prices and stock, a cart and a Stripe checkout.

  • Delivery rates by distance

Set up to five fixed delivery rates, such as within 10 miles and 10 to 30 miles, each with a delivery estimate. Customers pick theirs at checkout, and your Delivery page explains which one applies.

  • Stock that matches the woodpile

Stock goes down when an order is paid and checkout stops when a load is sold out, so a cold-snap rush can’t sell more cords than you’ve split and stacked.

  • Descriptions that explain your wood

Cornerrr writes product descriptions about species, heat, how long the wood has seasoned and how it’s measured. Ask the assistant to add a moisture note to every product at once.

  • Paid before you load the truck

Customers pay at checkout through your own Stripe account, so there’s no cash to chase in the driveway. Cornerrr adds no transaction fee.

Advice

What makes a great firewood delivery website

Whatever you build it with, these are the things that turn visitors into customers.

  1. Say exactly what a cord is

A full cord is a stack 4 feet high, 4 feet deep and 8 feet long, or 128 cubic feet. Words like face cord or rick mean different things in different regions, and some states only allow firewood sales by the cord or its fractions, so check your weights and measures rules.

  2. Be honest about dryness

Say how long the wood has seasoned and, if you measure it, the moisture reading. Wet wood hisses, smokes and leaves soot in the chimney, and buyers who once got green wood look for this line first.

  3. Photograph a real delivered load

Show a stacked cord next to something for scale, plus a close-up of the split ends. Buyers judge size and dryness from the pictures before they read a word.

  4. Check the rules on moving firewood

Many US states limit moving untreated firewood to slow pests like the emerald ash borer. If you deliver across county or state lines, check the rules and say on your website whether your wood is heat-treated.

  5. Open orders before the first frost

Most firewood sells between September and January. Put an “order now for fall delivery” note on the home page in late summer, and say how many weeks out your deliveries are once the rush starts.

How it works

From a few words to a firewood delivery website, live.

  1. Step 1: Describe your business

A sentence or two is enough: what you do, who it’s for and how people buy from you.

  2. Step 2: We build it while you watch

Cornerrr writes your pages, adds your products or services, and picks the colours, fonts and look. It takes about a minute.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Link a Stripe account, or create one in a few minutes. Your customers pay you directly.

  4. Step 4: You’re live

Publish on your free Cornerrr web address, or use your own. Change anything later by asking.

Questions

Good to know

How do I sell firewood online with delivery?

List each amount, such as a full cord or a half cord, as an option of one product with stock, and set fixed delivery rates by distance. Customers pay through your Stripe account at checkout, and you get an email for each order.

Can customers choose a delivery date for their firewood?

Not at checkout. Say on your Delivery page which days you deliver to each area and how far ahead you’re booked, then email the customer a day once the order comes in.

Can I take preorders for next season’s firewood?

Yes. Turn on “sell when out of stock” for that product, or add a separate preorder product with the delivery month in its title. Paid preorders wait in your Orders list until you deliver.

Should I charge sales tax on firewood and stacking?

Rules vary by state and country, including whether delivery and stacking charges are taxed. Check with your tax office. Stripe Tax can work out sales tax at checkout once it’s active on your Stripe account.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.

How much does it cost?

Building and previewing your website is free, with no card needed. To go live and take payments, choose a plan from $19 a month. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
