What is Scalapay?
Scalapay lets customers in the EU pay for a purchase in 3 or 4 installments. At checkout they’re sent to Scalapay, choose the number of payments and complete the purchase; Scalapay approves it and collects the installments, and you receive the full amount. It works in euros, within a minimum and maximum order amount, and Stripe accounts in most European countries can offer it.

They log in or sign up with Scalapay and complete the purchase, and Scalapay approves or declines it.
Back to your store
Approved customers return to your order confirmation page and get your order email, and the full amount goes to your Stripe balance.

Turn the method on in Stripe
In your Stripe Dashboard, open the payment method settings and turn it on. Stripe may ask a few questions about your business first.
It shows at checkout
Your Cornerrr checkout is Stripe Checkout, so customers who can use the method see it automatically when their country and your currency match.

How do I accept Scalapay on my Cornerrr store?
Connect your Stripe account and turn on Scalapay in your Stripe Dashboard’s payment method settings. Cornerrr’s Stripe Checkout then shows it automatically to eligible customers in the EU when your store sells in euros.
Can I sell digital downloads with Scalapay?
No. Scalapay’s rules exclude digital goods, so buyers of downloads pay by card, wallet or the other methods you’ve turned on. Scalapay is best for physical products.
Can customers pay for a subscription with Scalapay?
No. Stripe Checkout doesn’t support Scalapay for subscriptions, so it won’t show on subscription orders. It’s for one-time purchases.
How do Scalapay refunds and disputes work?
Refund through Stripe, in full or in part, up to 90 days after the purchase, and your store emails the customer. Customers can open a dispute with Scalapay for up to 210 days, so keep tracking numbers and order emails.
Does Scalapay approve every order?
No. Scalapay decides each purchase, and orders below its minimum or above its maximum don’t show the option. Other customers pay by card or another method as usual.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. You describe your business in your own words and Cornerrr builds the website. Afterwards you change things by clicking, or by asking the assistant in plain words.
How much does it cost?
